Freemans Bay

This heritage-listed property is a 19th century Freeman’s Bay timber mill workers hut.

This was a three level building on an extremely narrow and steep site. This project involved a major refurbishment of the entire house and a new basement and extension to the rear of the house.

Logistical issues with excavating the basement and foundations required a crane to lift diggers and skips over the house from the street to the back of the property.
